Headed to Dillon on January 3rd, stayed at the Best Western. We walked to Safeway and got chicken to go. Had to get back to the room so Du could watch his Washington football team kick some butt, and they did,
Headed south on I-15 for 603 miles on Monday. Started out icy on Monida pass, just as I said “is it slick” it was. Once we passed into Idaho there was lots of potato farms and big cattle ranches. Stopped in Pocatello for gas and then on to Salt Lake City. I had not idea The Greater Salt Lake City was such a large area, 50 miles of solid city. The sun was shining and at one point it was close to 50 degrees.
Stopped in Cedar City Utah for the night. We has a great Mexican dinner and then back to the room. I really enjoyed the scenery and the vast mountains. It’s about 3 hours to Las Vegas and then 2 more to Lake Havasu City. Ready to hit the hay!
